A really interesting article. Lots of stuff wrong (I still want my damn flying car!!!), but there's a lot of stuff that's pretty acurately predicted.

it's interesting to see how the view of the environment has changed. they envisioned domed cities with climate control. if you suggested such a thing today (i'd probably tell you Disney has this technology), most groups would be all up in arms about the damage to the environment such a thing would create.

That's true - there's no accounting for the energy needed to power all this transportation, either. Although the idea of private cars being banned in cities is a big environmental thing, so they got that right.
