Bleagh...

Rotten day at work yesterday. Trying to find a solution to a wireless networking problems that shouldn't have been a problem in the first place. Now the wireless router won't cover anything like the distance that it's supposed to, and the client is pissed. Tried access points yesterday, only to find that SMC access points won't bridge (talk to each other) without being wired through something else... WHAT THE HELL IS THE POINT? Looking at other solutions now, and have a couple of leads, but my boss is pissed because we spent a couple of hours playing with the access points yesterday, trying to get them to to work, only to have him find the comment in the manual that they have to be wired to something, they can't just be sitting in the middle of nowhere. So now we're looking at Netgears, which claim that they do what we need them to...

And by the time I got home, was exhausted. Completely. Both physically and emotionally. sat in front of my computer and created a new character in EQ, on a new server, so that I didn't have to talk to anyone or do anything difficult. Made a necromancer, that can be solo'd, and didn't worry about anything. Died twice cause I wasn't going to worry about it. Got to level 5... Will probably never play the character again. 8)

I have driven in 3 times in the last 3 days. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Today was the first time that I didn't have to. And sleeping on the train was SO easy... 8)

Not sure what I'm going to do yet this weekend. Alyse is leaving town this morning to go see Steve, so I'm on my own. Been invited to go to the Safehouse, but I don't know if I feel like going out and being social this weekend or being a hermit. Maybe a little of both. I do know that I'm going to go to bed when Iget tired tonight, then get up when I wake up tomorrow... Sleeping in would be a very GOOD thing.
