Every once in a while, I get insomnia. Doesn't happen very often. Yesterday I stayed home sick. I felt like crap, with a massive headache that wouldn't go away even with headache drugs, and general lethargy. I slept most of the day, which eventually helped with the headache, and even the lethargy. Unfortunately, I was still exhausted when I went to bed at about 9pm on Wednesday night. Then I woke up about 11pm. And I haven't been able to go back to sleep yet. I told my boss that I'd be in early on Thursday morning to try and make up some of the time that I missed on Wednesday, cause there's so much going on. But I'm feeling exhausted now, and still can't fall asleep again.
If I decide to go in really early, I'd be getting up in about an hour or so to catch the first train in. I'm starting to feel a little sleepy again, which means that I should go lay down and try to sleep, even if it's only for another hour. I might see how I feel then, and sleep for another couple of hours before heading in. I'm just afraid of getting in and forgetting something, or dropping a ball that I can't afford to drop. I'm feeling really ADD right now, and noticing that I'm having more trouble typing than usual, getting lots of typos, some of which I'm sure I haven't caught as I go back and read before sending this. And I'm rambling.
